At peace on 16th February 2018, Barbara Ann, aged 80 years of Cheadle and originally of Burslem, the beloved wife of John, cherished mother of Ella and Clive, a very dear mother in law and a much loved grandma. Funeral Wednesday 28th February, service at St. Mary and All Saints Church, Checkley at 2:00pm followed by interment at St. Chad’s Churchyard, Freehay. BESWICK Doreen

Peacefully at rest after a long illness on 1st February 2018 at the her home in Tean, Doreen, aged 91 years. The devoted wife of the late George and dearly loved mother of Graham. Doreen will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. BOON Alfred (Alf)

Alf Boon at peace on 20th January 2018, husband of the late Mary, father to the much loved late Susan, idolised grandad of Emma, Ginge and K.D., dearest friend of Ina and a dear brother and uncle. Alf will be missed by his many friends. “ I told you I was ill”.Funeral Tuesday 20th February service at St. Giles’ R. C. Church, Cheadle at 2:15pm prior to cremation at Carmountside Crematorium. THORLEY David Edmund John

Suddenly at rest on 10th February 2018, after a short illness, Dave, aged 67 years sadly passed away in the presence of his loving wife Moonyeen, a dear son, brother, uncle and friend to many.
