BENNETT Monica Doreen  (Doreen)  nee Sanders

Peacefully at rest in the presence of her loving family, on Thursday 23rd July 2020 at her home.Doreen aged 96 years of Cheadle. A dear Wife of the late James, loving Mum of Pauline, Jimmy, John and Peter. Cherished Mother in law of Nick, Lynne, Yvonne and Sharon, a proud Nanna B and Great Nanna. Doreen will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. Due to the current government guidelines a private service and interment will be taking place. Family floral tributes only please, donations if desired for the care of Royal National Institute of Blind People.

BEVANS Stanley (Stan)

Peacefully at rest at home in the presence of his loving family on Friday 7th August, after an illness courageously borne. Stan, 86 the loving and devoted dad to Sandra, Lynda and David, cherished grandad to Michelle, Andrew, Laura, Sophie, Chris and Dionne, a proud great grandad, respected by all of his extended family and all of his many friends. Stan will be dearly missed by all who knew him and will be remembered always with love. BLOOD Elizabeth Barr 

Suddenly on 10th July 2020 at her home in Tean, Elizabeth, aged 77 years, the much loved mum of Jacqueline and the late Stephen, loved mother in law of Chris, treasured grandmother of Steel, Nick and the late Ashleigh, dear friend of Andre and a dear sister, sister in law and aunty who will be sadly missed by all family and friends.  Due to the current government guidelines, a private service will take place.  Family flowers only please, donations if desired for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.  

BOOTH (nee Riley) Elizabeth

Peacefully at rest after a short illness on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 at The Royal Stoke University Hospital. Liz aged 56 years of Cheadle.Loving and devoted Wife of Garry, cherished Step Mum of Russell, Jessica and Alex, a proud Nannie of Bailey, Lillie-Mae, Oliver and Isla and a loving Sister. Liz will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. Due to the current government guidelines a private cremation will take place at Carmountside Crematorium. Family floral tributes only please, donations if desired for The British Liver Trust.

BRATTLEY Patricia

Peacefully at rest in the presence of her loving family, on her birthday, 9th August 2020 at her home. Patricia, aged 79 years of Cheadle. The beloved wife of Fred, much loved mum of Sue, loved mother in law of Phil, treasured nan of Sam, Lucy and husband Matt, cherished mama of Freddie and Elsie and a dear sister, sister in law and auntie, and a good friend to many. Patricia will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. Due to the current government guidelines a private service and interment will be taking place. Family floral tributes only please, donations if desired for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice or the Alzheimers Society. 

BREEZE Leonard

At peace on Wednesday 10th June 2020, at Tree Tops Nursing Home, Leonard Arthur, aged 86 years of Alton, the devoted husband of Margaret, loved and respected father of Ian, Diane, Elizabeth and Mark, a dear father in law and a treasured granddad and great granddad.  A private service will take place at Leonard’s place of worship followed by an interment. Family floral tributes only please, donations, if desired, for the Smile Train.

BURSTON  Elizabeth “Liz”

Peacefully on the 30th July 2020 at her home in Cheadle surrounded by her loving family, Liz aged 50 years, the loved and adored wife of Rob, treasured and caring mum of Laura and Liam and a dear daughter, daughter in law, sister, sister in law, aunty and dear friend who will be dearly missed by all family and friends. A private service will take place followed by an interment at Cheadle cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. 

BYATT Gerald Henry Buxton 

Peacefully at rest on Thursday 30th July 2020 at his home, Gerald, aged 90 years of Cheadle, formerly of Poole and Dilhorne.  A loving dad of Rob, a dear father in law of Sarah, Step Dad of Kev, proud grandad of Lydia and ex Husband of Val. Gerald will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. Due to the current government guidelines a private funeral service will be taking place at Dilhorne Churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for  SPANA (The International Working Animal Charity).

EASTER Susan Elizabeth  (Sue)

At peace on the 31st July 2020, Sue, aged 90 years of Alton, the devoted wife of Bill, loved and respected mother of Mike, Donald, Jane and Duncan, a dear mother in law, a treasured grandmother and a dearly loved sister of Margaret.  A private service will take place at Sue’s place of worship followed by an interment. Family floral tributes only please, donations if desired for either St. Peter’s Church, Alton or the RNLI.

JACKSON Jean

At peace on 21st July 2020 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Jean, aged 88 years of Stubwood, the beloved wife of the late Ernest (Ernie), cherished mother of Peter and John, very dear mother in law of Ann and Sally, much loved nana of Matthew and Lucy, great nana of Emilie, Isabel and Harriet and a dearly loved sister, sister in law and auntie. It is with regret that due to the current government guidelines a private service will take place. Floral tributes are welcome or donations if desired for the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

KEATES Jacqueline Sabrina  (Jackie)

Sadly at rest on Wednesday 8th July 2020 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. MEIR Raymond

Peacefully at rest after a long illness on Friday 10th July 2020 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. MITCHELL  Marjorie

It is with deep sadness, Marjorie of Oakamoor passed away peacefully in her 88th year on Friday 31st July at the Douglas Macmillian Home.Marjorie, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and after moving to Oakamoor some 20 years ago from Barnsley made some great and good friends in the village. Oakamoor was a very special place for her.She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.Cremation at Carmountside 20th August, 2.00pm followed by a memorial service at Holy Trinity Church, Oakamoor, 3.00pm. Then light refreshments in Oakamoor Village Hall. No flowers, any donations to the Douglas Macmillan Home and The Holy Trinity Church, colourful dress please as a celebration of her life.

MORRIS Peter  (Retired Plumber)

Unexpectedly on 16th July 2020, Pete, aged 67 years of Tean, dearly loved and adored husband of Kate, much loved Dad of Becky, Joanna and Becky’s partner Jon and a dear brother, brother in law and uncle.  Due to the current government guidelines, a private cremation service will take place.  Family flowers only please, donations if desired for the British Heart Foundation.

Peacefully at rest on Friday 31st July 2020 at The Royal Stoke University Hospital.
