Peacefully at rest on 5th April 2018 at The Old Vicarage Residential Home, Ruth, aged 88 years of Checkley.  A loving mother of John and Mick, mother in law of Sandra and grandmother of Jessica and Peter.  Ruth will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends.   Funeral service to take place on Thursday 19th April at St. Mary and All Saints Church, Checkley at 11:30am followed by interment in Checkley Churchyard. BRIGGS Judy

At rest on 30th March 2018 at the RSUH, after an illness fought with great courage and determination, Judy, aged 56 years of Tean and originally of Middleton Green, the beloved partner of Duncan, cherished by Andy, treasured mother of Matthew and James, a dearest mother-in-law to Lucy, adored nanny to Anneliese and Otto, a dearly loved sister, sister-in-law and auntie and a loved daughter-in-law. Passed away peacefully on 17th April 2018 at the RSUH, Clara aged 90 years of Cheadle, beloved wife of the late Albert, much loved mum of Robert, Margaret and Anthony and a dear mother in law, nan and great nan.  Following a reception into Church on Sunday 13th May at 4:00pm, Funeral Mass on Monday 14th May at St. Giles R.
